2007 TOURNAMENT
Sunday 7th October, 12.00 noon
Venue: Inverleith
Welcome to the 2007 Stew Mel Lions Mini Rugby tournament.
On this page you will find everything you need to
know about this year's tournament - if you don't find what you
need, email Mike Wood, Tournament
Coordinator, and he'll do his best to answer your questions.
The Stew Mel Lions tournament is one of the leading
tournaments on the 'Mini' circuit, having featured teams from
all over the country. This year's visitors are Boroughmuir, Currie,
Edinburgh Accies, Howe of Fife, Musselburgh, North Berwick, Stirling
County and Watsonians.
The tournament is meant to be a fun day for all
those involved. Whether playing or spectating, winning or not
winning, we hope everyone enjoys their day and remembers that,
in the end - it is only a game.
Please come along and support all of the players,
they really do get a buzz from positive support.
Volunteers - calling
all Lions parents
Every great day requires some work. If any
parent, brother, sister or friend is able to help for all or part
of the day, please contact your relevant Year Group leader - their
details are on the 'Contact Us' page.
We will need help with the following: Scorers, Pitch coordinators,
tuck-shop, tea & coffees, team food bags, programme sales
and home baking for the tuck-shop and tea & coffee stalls.
Team Food Bags - calling all Lions players
Remember to bring rolls - all Lions players
should bring 6 filled rolls for the team food bags - and remember
also to avoid any of the usual 'allergy' foods. Stick to simple
HAM, CHEESE, CHICKEN.
