"There is far too much talk about good ball and bad ball. In my opinion, good ball is when you have possession and bad ball is when the opposition have it."

Coaches for season 2010/11

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Bruce MacNaughton as the Club’s new Head Coach.

Assisting Bruce will be Kevin Brown, who will act as our Forwards coach this season, and Donald Snodgrass, who will help Bruce coach our Backs.

Bruce MacNaughton - We are delighted to welcome one of the most experienced coaches in Scottish club rugby to Inverleith. Bruce has a wealth of experience, having previously coached at Currie, Murrayfield Wanderers and, most recently, at Peebles. He has also been involved in the Scottish national age group coaching team at under-19 level, and is the ideal appointment to develop our large pool of talented young players.

Kevin Brown - Kevin joins us from Boroughmuir, where he has locked horns against us both as a player and as a coach. He has been involved in Scottish Rugby's Pathway programme as a coach, and, as such, is familiar with nurturing young talent - of which there is plenty at Inverleith.

Donald Snodgrass - Donald joins us from Haddington, and is an ambitious young coach who knows our club well. He has played against us on many occasions, and is familiar with our open style of play; he is keen to develop this, while making us a hard team to beat.
