Scottish Schools, Edinburgh U18/19 and also played for Scotland U19 in a training game against South U21s - that's where I bust my knee, and I've never played properly since

Favourite Stew Mel player ever Stew Forsyth (though that may change if he finds a photo of my mighty P7 'fro for the website!)

Most embarassing moment (on or off the pitch)

I played for Scottish Schools against France, then went out on the batter and got absolutely smashed - then the coaches caught me!

Despite that, I returned to the Schools squad that year, taking part in their only victory that season over Scotland U18s. I then became the only player to be dropped from a winning side before the England game. Still remember the phone call from Rob Moffat, saying it had nothing to do with France (honest!)

One unique fact about yourself? I am more potent than a carafe of cyanide
