Match Report
Well beaten by a faster, fitter, better organised and
younger team - yes, they train - who threatened to
blow us away after going 14-0 up in 10 minutes. We rallied
and conceded no more points that half.
The game was, however, virtually over after they scored
again in the first minute of the second half.
We had the occasional good break, but struggled to score
as the Nails got back in numbers and we had little support.
We turned them over on many occasions in the loose, but
were hammered in the penalty count, where the ref seemed
to desire release more quickly than even at international
level.
Need a very strong team for the next two games, then we
have three weeks' rest. So no call offs, please!
