Two changes to the starting line up from the team that
edged past Peebles in the last outing. Euan Clark has recovered
from injury and returns at Scum Half in place of Kenny Bowie.
Ross Rennie is also available to play this week, having
been released from Scotland U19 duties. He comes into the
back row for Dougie Rycroft, who must make do with a place
on the bench.
At twenty years and four months, Stephen Dalgleish lines
up in his fiftieth 1st XV match, which is a fantastic achievement
for somebody so young. In his last few outings, Dalgy has
rediscovered the form that made him last year's Young Player
of the Year, and I'm sure we'll get another big performance
out of him on Sunday.
The games between these two teams have been very close
in the last few seasons, with Haddington having the edge
in terms of results. This is, however, a must-win game if
we are to keep our promotion hopes alive, and the boys are,
after a week off, raring to go and ready for action. With
only Nick Penny and Chris Bissett unavailable for selection
through injury, the squad is as strong as we could hope
for at this stage of the season.
