Some major surgery to the team after the disappointing
performance at Murrayfield Wanderers, with only seven of
the starting lineup from that match in the XV this week.
Borth, Sam, Shiely, Paul, Steph, Ben and Ross are the seven
survivors, with Steph reverting to his more familiar No
3 slot as Shaun McMurchy returns from suspension.
In the backs, Gav Sharp and Chris Bissett replace Jamie
Hood and Peter McLean on the wings, while David Warwick
partners Sam in the centre for the third time this season.
Euan Clark, having also served his own suspension, returns
to the starting lineup to replace Kenny Bowie.
Up front, Dalgy replaces Stuart Clark in the second row,
while Nick Penny and Graham Lind return from injury to add
some grit and experience to the back row. This will be Nick's
first start since the Jed game on October 9th - let's hope
for a better result this Saturday!
Dougie Rycroft drops to the bench this week, where he is
joined by another long-term absentee in the shape of Jed
Gordon. Jed's last game was against Boroughmuir on November
21st - again, let's hope for a better result this Saturday!
This week's game represents a major test of our promotion
credentials, so your support would be particularly appreciated.
