Read latest World Cup News from SCRUM
The Rugby World Cup is in full swing and at the time of writing, Scotland’s hopes of reaching the latter stages remain intact in a tournament that has lived up to all the pre-action billing.
Most will have caught their breath after Japan’s monumental win against South Africa on the opening weekend, something that gave genuine global exposure to the World Cup and set the tone for what has been a gripping Pool B.
Elsewhere in issue 75 of The SCRUM, we have an exclusive interview with former Edinburgh and All Blacks captain Todd Blackadder on his time in Scotland, a focus on the new youth and schools structure that has just started throughout the country and a look at how clubs can apply for the next round of sustainability funding.
There are feature interviews with both Alan Solomons and Gregor Townsend on the Scottish professional sides’ start to the new campaign, while Gary Heatly has the spotlight on two of their players in Nasi Manu and Fraser Lyle.
All this and the World Cup is still going!
