George Turner & Scott Riddell Launch The 16th Man
The 16th Man Membership category is to harness the goodwill that we currently enjoy. We hope to now encourage parents of players, former players, player’s wives and partners, former players, former pupils, Stew Mel ex-patriates to make a monetary contribution to help run the ‘club’.
We regularly receive 4-5,000 weekly hits on our website and would like to encourage those that follow us for whatever reason to help us financially if they can. The subscription for this is £55. I include the link that downloads the forms.
The 16th man category entitles the supporter to:
- Opportunity to apply for international tickets through Stewart’s Melville RFC
- One free lunch at the club per season either at the ‘’members’’ day (date to be decided – but before a home game) or on another Saturday of the member’s choice
- Register to receive weekly emails that provide match reports, school rugby reports, academy news.
- Contribution to Steven Sims Cavalier Foundation (link to Facebook page) charity is hypothecated from your membership at £5
Scott Riddell, Scotland’s successful 7’s skipper and George Turner, member of Scotland’s summer tour squad, are both delighted to lend their support to this initiative.
Scott says ‘’ StewMel is my club and this is great way to help support the boys’’
