1. Stephen Brewster - Prop
Stephen or , 'Special brew' is a tearaway forward who hunts the pitch in search of rucks and mauls. He often plays like a man under the influence, hence the nickname. He is a courageous tackler with constructive footballing skills.

2. Craig O'Donnell - Hooker
Craig is known as the 'choir boy' for his angelic singing! This side of Craig is at complete odds with his usual demeanour on the rugby pitch! His singing repertoire is versatile and he can just as easily sing an Irish Ballad as Mozart. Similarly, he is a strong and fast runner equally at home in the backs and the forwards.

3. Nick Cornbleet - Prop
Nick is the 'talker' never known to be silent when there is the opportunity to chat! He is developing into a strong forward with, unusually for a forward, good hands. When he is playing his face is full of concentration and that can sometimes be enough to get the upper hand against opposing forwards! Mind you - he is usually still talking!

4. Ramsay Muir - Lock
'Rams
' is a very appropriate nickname as Ramsay drives relentlessly forward at the opposition. He is a fine athlete whose performance can sometimes be affected by lack of sleep from sleepovers! He has good handling skills and is the main lineout jumper in the team.

5. Andrew Robertson - Lock
Andrew or 'Robbo' works tirelessly on developing his rugby skills and never misses a coaching session. He can play in the forwards or in the backs. He is a fine athlete with considerable pace. He does not like to lose at anything and will even race people to tie their shoe laces!

6. Chris Gill - Stand off/Wing
At the tender age of 11 - Christopher gives a good impression of the absent minded Professor! The 'Prof' is forever forgetting the latest set piece move. One thing that the Prof does not forget is how to run and is often seen sprinting round a cross country course with the 'joker'. He maybe small but pound for pound the Prof has fantastic ball and running skills.

7. Andrew Hamilton - Wing
The quiet and thoughtful man of the Tour party. Sensible and responsible until he gets on the dance floor at Halloween parties! 'Disco man' plays anywhere in the backs and is a constructive ball player with deceptive speed.

8. Jamie Sutherland - Lock
Now known as 'Wheatabix man' after he demolished 12 wheatabix a one sitting on a recent sleepover. Jamie is a strong and powerfully built forward who eats opposing players! He is currently 5 ft.... - there is no point putting a figure in as he is growing so fast - he maybe six feet by the time we arrive in Paris!

9. Gavin Milne - Scrum half
Gavin has every rugby accessory and looks every part the professional player. He has a great desire to be larger than he is - not that he is small. However, he plays in jerseys and shorts that are three sizes too big! Gavin is our 'le petit general' dictating the play with a expert passing. Lets just hope that we are not going to meet our Waterloo in Paris.

10. Rory Paterson - Stand off
Rory is our playmaker - only problem is he is a Hearts supporter and so his judgement can be questionable! Rory has good hands and a devastating side step that leaves his opponents and sometimes his team mates bewildered. Rory has been nicknamed 'Roar' which is appropriate as he leads the Lions into battle.

11. Jamie Smith - Wing
The 'joker' of the squad. Jamie is a fine athlete who sprints in cross country! He actually likes training! He has a devastating outside break and scores many tries. Jamie is fine footballer and often forgets what game he is playing so that he claims penalties when a player is tackled! He will keep the tour squad smiling.

12. John Campbell - Centre
John is more commonly known as 'JJ' or 'chunks' due to his enormous shoulders. He is a fast powerhouse runner with fine hands but can be suddenly distracted if sees a mathematical problem that needs to be solved. In fact, he has been known to use his protractor to figure what angle he should be running!

13. Ross Grant - Centre
The pin up boy of the team who has to deal with fan mail even at this age! 'Rossie' has sparkling pace and a wonderful break that he has developed running away from admiring girls!

14. Alex Chisholm - Wing
Alex should be known as' twinkle toes' as he dances around the pitch leaving tacklers in this wake. Alex is a fine player of football, badminton and is the current Scottish 'tiddly winks' champion.

15. Stewart Shaw - Hooker
Stewart is a hard running ball playing hooker who is the baby of the tour party. Therefore, it is appropriate that being the youngest his nickname should be 'Stew the Man'! He is known for his positional sense (I don't think I will go to that ruck over there) and in common with all hookers has the this uncanny skill of being outside the winger to score in the corner!

16. Franc MacTour - Mascot
Franc is showing off the Tour dress code for the squad. His flamed ginger locks will strike fear into every Frenchman he meets on the rugby pitch. Franc is a seasoned tourist who scared Dubliners with his Viking roar and dazzled the English at Malsis, Yorkshire with his elusive running. Typically, Franc needs no sleep - well that is how it appears when on Tour. He has an unbelievable ability to eat sweets, or anything that is deemed unhealthy!
