Following the successful tour last year, we are looking at the possibility of heading down to defend the Scarborough Rugby Festival in April.
Like last year, The tournament takes place over two days at Scarborough RFC involving teams all over the North of England. The tournament is played to different rules. This is nine-aside with scrums, lineouts and mauls as part of the rules.
The squad going will need to undertake extra training sessions to develop safely the techniques for scrums, mauls and lineouts and will be arranged at a time to try and suit the majority. English year groups are typically an average of 6 months older than ours. The teams we will face will be bigger and more physical than we are used to. Confidence in the tackle will be essential.
We will be looking for a similar format to last year (it seemed to work well) so please speak to someone that went if you need any more info.
You may also want to look at this website:

This will be, like last year, a dad/lad tour.
Please indicate below if you are interested in going.
Thanks
