Al Geddes, Stew Mel Lions Chairman, comments: “The Lions is one of the best open mini-rugby sections in North Edinburgh. With the support of sponsors such as Craneware, our pathways and plans can be put into action, thus helping the development of tomorrow’s adult players.”

Club rugby has changed drastically over the years, with clubs building infrastructures to ensure cradle to grave opportunities, not just with playing but also fostering team spirit, friendship and companionship for generations. Our agreement with Craneware emphasises the importance we place on not just being one club but also being a family club where all children and adults are welcome.”

As a company we put a great deal of time, effort and resource into building the world’s best healthcare solutions, and our partnership with Stewart’s Melville enables us to promote both ourselves and Stewart’s Melville Rugby as a brand globally. We are delighted that we can provide the opportunity to club members’ parents to watch this generation of senior players whilst their children develop under one of the best pathways in rugby.”
