The effort that goes into raising funds to keep our club at the forefront of Scottish rugby, also, should not be underestimated. The annual ball at Murrayfield, the pre-International lunch at Mary Erskine’s School and the Lions Dinner were three enormously successful events both financially and socially. We recovered from a very poor start last season to comfortably secure our place in National League Division One for the forthcoming season. The effort the players, coaches, supporters and committee put into achieving this should not be underestimated.

The club is very reliant on support of all interested parties including sponsors, supporters and former pupils. We have looked at our core support and hope you agree that the initiative described below will help develop our income streams to include the diaspora of the Stewart’s Melville family that have settled outside the immediate environs of Inverleith.

As part of our on-going review to your club the committee has recognised that, perhaps, more needs to be done to look after our members by way of communicating and indeed encourage others to take up membership. In return we are asking you to support the club financially as we try to meet the challenges ahead.

Stewart’s Melville RFC is a Rugby Club that supports all its members and open to everyone. We encourage men, women, families, partners, wives and children to be apart of our community and enjoy Scottish Club Rugby at its finest.  Stewart’s Melville RFC is proud to be apart of and supporting the Scottish Rugby Union
