Here’s all the info from Saturday’s narrow win over Whitecraigs at Inverleith. Note that Seb has now claimed our first try from Andy Hughes, which means that the bold Berwick boy actually scored two on the day – good work!

Single Sentence Summary Another frustrating performance, with far too much August rugby on a dreich October day – thank goodness there’s still room in our elaborate game plan for fly hacks and push over tries!
Leading Lion Bit of a split decision this week, with praise coming in for Matt, Scotty R, Jamie, Ethan, Mark and Sangy from various quarters. Am also quite tempted to give Joni the award for playing while the world was literally falling out of his bottom .. but better go, instead, for George Turner, whose explosive ball carrying was a delight to behold.
Pie Points Excellent offerings from Bain’s of Stenhouse, as usual – just needed a wee cup of soup to round off the half time scran experience, really.
Bevvy Bulletin The house white remains uncorked this season, with Deuchar’s IPA and Thistly Cross cider the bevvy of choice so far. Mind you, a few bottles of Thistly Cross 7.2 and you’re pretty much up to house white levels of befuddlement, anyway!
